2017 was an active and eventful year for the Babraham Institute as we continued to work to understand the biology of healthy ageing. We saw the discovery of the Ageing Clock, a new mechanism of cell cannibalism, a deeper understanding of the cancer gene PTEN and a prestigious award to support investigation of immune system regulation. The Report includes features exploring our work on vaccinations, influencing policy around ageing, collaborating to identify potential new drug targets and presenting our science through an innovative virtual reality experience. Find out more about our work with the public and contact us to get involved.
