Sam studied Biology at the University of Chester, graduating in 2016 before holding the position of an Advanced Research Assistant in the Cytometry Core Facility at the Wellcome Sanger Institute outside of Cambridge. Sam joined the Flow Cytometry Facility in August 2021 as a Flow Cytometry Specialist and has a range of sorting experience with BD, Beckman Coulter, and Sony Biotechnology flow cytometers.

Sam’s experience is in cell sorting, experimental design, data acquisition and analysis, and troubleshooting. He can also help with training of users on the in-house analyser systems
